I'll tell you what -- it's another FUNDRAISING announcement! (Caps for emphasis, not shouting.)
I would like to REMIND everyone about the Royal Travel Fund AUCTION and the
Known World Rapier Academy RAFFLE at the APRIL 21st Coronation of TRH Bardolph
and Brigh in Lochmorrow. See Schedule for times.
Now, SOME of you have answered the call to donate to EITHER OR BOTH causes ALMOST
any items, supplies or services that can be used by or which would be attractive
to the SCA populace. The items donated to date are great stuff, but they are
small in number. Here is the current list of items for the auction and raffle:

Guess what?!? We need MORE DONATIONS!!!!
Donations can come in many forms: decorative items; armor; weapons; artisan/craftsperson's supplies of almost any kind (cooking, costuming, illumination, fiber arts, leather-working, armoring and/or weaponry, etc.); fabric; books; pottery; glassware; garb; jewelry; foodstuffs; CDs or tapes; toys; commissions; babysitting; lessons; foot rubs; merchanting assistance; etc., etc. (You get the idea.) NO DONATIONS OF ALCOHOL PLEASE, as this is a violation of Society policy.
Please consider donating something so that I don't have to go around with an
empty pot or jug or something begging for cash donations. I will start shaking
people down if necessary. There's very little I won't do to encourage people
to assist in this cause -- ask your friends who were at the ToC on March 31st.)

NO LATER THAN APRIL 11th if you are not attending the event and wish to
send an item or have me make up a certificate for a service, OR NO LATER THAN
APRIL 18th if you will deliver an item to the event yourself. I will also be
available at Grand Tourney of the Unicorn for deliveries made there.
I am ESPECIALLY HOPING that people who have NEVER donated to a Middle Kingdom
fundraiser will now feel moved to do so. There are a number of people who contribute
REGULARLY (and boy howdy, am I GRATEFUL), but this burden (however JOYOUS) should
be shouldered by many, not few. SO PLEASE find it in your heart to donate to
BOTH of these WORTHY causes AND to support these also by your participation
in them at Coronation.
