Synopsis of Group’s Activity (meetings, demos, events, etc...):

Lochmorrow has held weekly fighter practices during the school year. These included rattan and rapier combat. Business Meetings were held in January, February, April, May, July, September, October, November and December. We held two demos during the year. In May for a Boy Scout Troop we did a fighting demonstration. In August we had a recruitment demo on campus at WIU where we explained combat to interested students. We also had table space at orientation day at WIU.

Did your group receive any media coverage this trimester (if yes, please describe):

We did not receive any. We did have a student journalist at the demo on WIU campus who interviewed me, but it was not printed.

Summarize your interactions with other officers in your group:

The Knight’s Marshal is a pain. Knights and Pelicans are like that. Nothing but trouble. He thinks that fighting is everything. The other officers and I get along just fine.

Summarize the state of your group:

The group feels much more stable than at this time last year. I feel that part of that is our choice to become a Canton of Illiton. It gives us backing and a place to feel safe. I will be stepping down as seneschal following the submission of this report. For the first time in 15 years, we had two people volunteer to take the job. Roibhilin of Adair will be taking over and Morgan will remain Herald, an office he just recently assumed. With Roibhilin as seneschal, we will have five different people holding major offices for the first time in nearly five years. This is very exciting to me. I think that Lochmorrow looks better than it has in years.

Any Problems or Issues:

We have no major issues at the moment. The only minor issue has been our inability to throw an event in the last two years, but I see the other issues that made it that way moving past us.
